Not So Spooky Fright [open to all]

[Hey guys! In light of the spooky holiday coming up, the great Lilymod and I decided we should have a Halloween thread to celebrate! This is a non-canon, free for all thread of gettin' your characters into the spirit of this wonderfully terrifying day. Yes, I said character! You can include as many of /your/ characters as you wish, but decide beforehand if you want said character to trick or treat or answer the door [or any other Halloween related event]. It is up to you what you want your characters to wear! ALSO, this rp is for nation fun, not humanized gakuen verse fun! Alrighty, let's begin! Mwahahahaha!]

Andorra fiddled with the fuzzy brown ears atop of her head, adjusting them so they were in the right spot. This was quite difficult with the cotton paws she had on her hands; they were large and cartoonish, with adorable velvet black claws and pads. She stared at herself in her mirror, frowning slightly. She meant to dress as a wolf, but Portugal's comment, "Ah, a puppy?" made her self conscious about whether she succeeded in portraying a terrifying and bloodthirsty wolf.

She sighed. "I suppose it will do...sorry Lily!" The rest of her outfit was just as adorable as everything else. She wore a brown and abnormally fuzzy hoodie with brown short shorts, with black leggings. Miraculously, she was able to find high boots that were specifically for a wolf costume; brown and fuzzy with plush wolf feet. She taped a long brown tail on her lower back, hiding the tape with her hoodie. What she was most proud of were her lovely long fangs and yellow contact lenses that actually gave her a more authentic creepiness to her look. She supposed for a last minute costume, she did pretty good!

Indeed, Lily's invite to join her in trick or treating came as a surprise to the micro-nation. She never really celebrated Halloween before, not that she didn't want to, but she feared those nuns that gave her a hard time wouldn't appreciate the idea of her dressing up for tom-foolery. Those nuns were nice, but scary when they were angry. But at the invite, she gritted her teeth and begged them to let her participate. And to her surprise, they were totally fine with it.

Nuns are pretty cool!

The two micro nations chatted together about costumes, and they decided to go with a Red Riding Hood theme, Lily being the sweet innocent girl and Andorra as the terrible and monstrous wolf.

.....it was either or, really.

Feelings of excitement growing, she made her way to their meeting place, a pumpkin pale clutched in her paws. She found Lily almost instantly.

"Lily~! What do you think?"

[Liechtenstein]

Liechtenstein couldn’t contain her excitement as she waited for her friend at their agreed upon meeting spot. She had been practically bouncing all week as she counted down the days to Halloween. It was a silly thing really, but she couldn’t help it. Ever since Mr. America had shown her how it was celebrated at his home she was always excited for Halloween to come around. Especially since it was one of the times where she could truly forget her status as a Nation and just pretend to be a normal girl.

That and dressing up was always so much fun! Along with getting free candy.

This year would be even better because Andorra had agreed to come Trick or Treating with her! And they were wearing matching costumes – Lily would be Little Red Riding Hood and Dorra the Big Bad Wolf. And oh boy, she couldn’t wait to see what her friends costume looked like! Smoothing out the rose colored pinafore hoping that it looked okay; it was a bit of a rush sewing job, as before she had just planned to re-wear her fairy costume from the previous year’s outing. Shifting from foot to foot she looked left, then right, hoping her friend would arrive soon.

Holding her basket in one hand she tugged the red hood a bit further on, and as such did not see Andorra coming and jumped. Liechtenstein’s eyes went wide and she giggled spinning around to properly face her friend and look at her costume. Her smile widened, if it was possible, and eyes twinkled. ”You look terrifying! Which of course is good.” She giggled, keeping the fact that Andorra actually looked adorable (minus the eyes and fangs) to herself. She had a feeling her friend wouldn’t appreciate that.

Keeping a firm hold on her basket with one hand she held the other out to her friend. ”Ready to go?” [/color]

"Wahaha, thank you~" Adorra sang, thankful that someone found her scary rather than cute. A puppy indeed! "You look amazing Lily! It's like you walked straight out of the story book!"

She nodded enthusiastically. "Of course! Let's go~" As they walked down the steps and towards the street, Andorra heard a rustle behind her. She quickly turned, a bit startled. She didn't see anything. Goodness, people were not kidding when they said Halloween was full of frights in the night! She slowly turned back around, keeping her ears open for any other suspicious noises, but she heard none.

The two micro nations made their way down the streets, which were illuminated with orange lights, with bats and [terrifyingly enough] spiders hanging freely to sway in the wind. There were many small children happily skipping through each house, with their parents tagging along behind them with small smiles on their faces. She smiled and waved at them, and received the same curtsy back.

They stopped in front of their first house. "Ready?"

”Th-Thank you!” She beamed at the compliment, her earlier concern about her dress looking rushed fading away. Smiling she walked down the streets with her friend, waving to the children that skipped past them with their parents. Giggling when one little boy dressed as a mummy tried to scare them. And appropriately Liechtenstein mocked a fear little gasp, giggling with Andorra once he ran off.

More than once she paused to peek over her shoulder when she had thought she’d heard the bushes rustling. But she never saw anything… Ah~ It must just be the spirit of Halloween making everything a bit more spooky.

When they reached their first house she nodded, prepared to hold out her basket. ”Ja, let’s!” Outright beaming she reached out, ringing the doorbell. The door opened and an elderly woman appeared, smiling widely at the two. ”Trick or Treat!”

”Now what do we have here! Little Red Riding Hood, didn’t your Mother tell you not to socialize with the Wolf?”[/b] Liechtenstein giggled herself at the old woman’s little tease, thanking her for the candy when she offered them a bowl with the simple instructions to ”Take two each!” [/size]
