Traditionally, for every new port, the crew of the Lucky Dragon would spend the first part of the day touring the city—shopping, resupplying, sight-seeing, sounding out for more jobs or locations of treasure, generally taking a very much needed break from the other people on board. Then, once the sun had set, the captain would rally his crew-family and go out in a large group, storming the nearest available establishment and generally wrecking havoc in the form of a dinner out on the town.
Tonight, that town was Tortuga.
“Come on! It’s just this way!” the Korean called back, beaming as he dragged along both Kiku and Mei, who was holding on to Cai in turn. He turned forward, following his feet at a fast pace, Sang Ki bobbing lightly in the balmy evening wind and wrinkling the Asian’s nose with the scent of the surf. “I heard of this great place, da ze—the Salty Sea. I got a good feeling about going there.”
Yong Soo’s ‘feelings’ were more like forces of nature—impossible to reason with, and difficult to curtail. Once the Korean got something in his head, it would nag until it saw fruition. Thus, no matter what sort of protests the crew might have made, nothing could stop the young Captain from butting his way into the crowded bar, bringing in his minor horde with a broad grin.
“Hiya da ze~!” He called, lifting his hand from Mei’s and waving around like the crazy new kid in class. A few curious pirates glanced up, some calling out almost-friendly obscenities, but most of them simply continued what they were doing.

Mattie was running around helping customers on this busy day in a beautiful chinese dress, the purples, blues and greens reminding one of the sea. He was wearing his hair pulled up into a bun with twin chopsticks holding his hair up. The fake breasts he made were working beautifully and made him feel that much better. He was heading back to the counter when in came the Captain she told about this place.
He stared at the one with the golden brown eyes, a bright blush covering his cheeks. He ducked his head and moved towards the Captain and his crew, calling out, " Do you wish for a table Captain? For you and your crew?" Mattie shyly moved forward, the dress shimmering with his movements. The flat chinese slippers on his feet completed the outfit with jade drops in his ears. Mattie had gone all out and the make-up he wore really accented his eyes and lips.
He smiled and bowed in the manner necessary in the chinese style dress he wore and waited for their response, shifting the tray he was holding to a better position. He wanted to make a good impression and if what he thought was correct, the captain had two sides to his personality. Mattie was hoping to deal with the one who had a bit of tact. He was a bit more comfortable with that side, though the other he quite liked as well.

With a bemused look, Cái had been told to not let go of Mei's hand before they left the ship so as to not get lost in the crowds. Lost in the crowds? What was he, five again? It didn't bother him too much though... even just walking down the street he'd managed to pilfer a wallet one-handed. It was thick too, which meant he could eat as many meat-buns and maybe even get some of those candies that Afonso kept sending him. He didn't feel any shame on it either - Tortuga was a place for pirates and thieves. If anyone was stupid enough to let themselves be ripped off, they deserved it.
But they finally got to the bar and Cái perked right up. A bar? Was Yao seriously going to let him go inside? Bouncing on his toes ecstatically, he tried to peer over top of everyones heads to see inside. Unfortunately, being the shortest one there, it didn't work very well.
