Asia
City of the Dragon
- Robbing History
Rumor tells of an illustrious collector of ancient Oriental artifacts is planning an exhibit within the City—items from the heart of Central Asia on East, priceless in value, rich in history. Will you dare take the treasure from the dragon’s claws?
PROFIT: Silks, coins, scrolls, museum pieces for the highest bidder—and who knows? You may find a good weapon or two here. RISK: Rich men can afford good guards, and the locals may not take too kindly from having historical and culturally relevant items thieved from the City. Not to mention, there may be Navy about...
Village of Yīzhì
Bamboo Thicket
- There has been a rumor of a sky merchant coming through this area with a ship laden with expensive silks. The rewards for taking it down would be massive profit from not only selling the silks, but from capturing the money chest - which is said to also be very full. The downside is, this merchant in labeled as ‘under protection’ from the Sky Military. Any who attack it be warned - you’ll garner unwanted attention from that corner of the world.

Africa
Congo River Basin
- Trade-Off: Traders have set up a tempory market here, trying to get the natives to partake in their bargins, good and bad.
GAINS: Raid or buy items, there's all sorts of goodies here. DANGERS: Merchants may have hired bodyguards to watch over their crud PLUS if you mess with the natives, they'll be a special kind of hell waiting for you.
Sahara Desert
- Worth The Salt
Salt mining has always been a lucrative enterprise. The only way to make it more profitable is to let other people do the mining. How fortunate, then, that no one ever checks the transverse through the desert . . .
PROFIT: Raw resources (easy to sell), middle of nowhere (distress signals aren’t likely to get swift response), easy to take down if they don’t cooperate. RISK: Over-heating engines, gunmen, sun-glare, high visibility, and isolation should YOU be the one in distress.

Scandinavia
The Dragon's Teeth
- Word has reached the ears of Tortuga that there is a certain floating island up to the north that is frozen in place by chains of ice. Legend has it that an old viking warship crashed there on it’s way home to Scandinavia before the island took to the skies - filled with treasure and other stolen look. The reward would be ancient loot, worth an immense amount of money on the antiques market. The downside is that there’s been movement of the Sea Fleet variety in that direction - so you may have to watch your backside.

Western Europe
Cliffs of Dover
- Newly Sunken Ship: BREAKING NEWS. A small merchant ship was recently sunk near the Cliffs of Dover and the owners haven't recovered anything yet. No telling what's in it though. An airship saw it go down, but was unable to do anything about it. So, Sea pirates, need something to do?
GAINS: If you can get to it, the merchant ship was carying a lot of jewelry (gold chains, raw jewels, ect), and since it's newly sunk, it'll still be good. DANGERS: The ship is SUNK. You'll need good divers and propper equiptment. And lets not forget the little fact of the ACTUAL OWNERS MIGHT SHOW UP AT ANY POINT IN TIME.
Cliffs in France
- Assaut du Château
A privately owned cliff side fortress, lightly guarded, ripe for the raid. That is, if you can navigate past the cannons and cliff . . .
PROFIT: Treasure, ammunition, a possible base RISK: Cannons, mines in the sea, treacherous cliffs, trained gunmen, the eccentric and armed owner.

Mediterranean
Ieró édafos of Greece
- This old island was one day found high in the sky. The people on it either starved to death or managed to run away - but it still sits there, untouched as the Grecian government claims that it’s haunted. Potential treasure to be found. If not - just look out for the Greeks, as they take particular offense to anyone touching their relics.

GAINS: this is a merchant ships FILLED with Swiss chocolate. Exotic in other places and will fetch a good price. Or your cook will be extremely happy. Middle East
Desert Wasteland
- Dowsing the Dead River
Somewhere in the arid bank, rich veins of minerals mark the lines of the ancient waterway. Within pockets and sinks, surely there is some sort of profit to be gleaned? Especially when there are rumors of a green glow beneath the sand . . .
PROFIT: Anything you can glean, and perhaps a piece? RISK: Hard work, low resources, curious archaeologists and their military escorts.
Babylonian Ruins
- The rush towards the ruins of former empires has only slowed because the local governments are clamping down on foreigners digging up their history and stealing it. An intrepid pirate can take advantage of that - and this patch of old ruins was barely uncovered before it was sworn off of to be dug up. Grab your shovels and your water jugs as out in the desert is harsher than the sea. Reward would be whatever loot you can make off with. Down side is, you get caught, you’ll probably be shot at.

North America
Canadian Lagoon
- Last Resorts
The wealthy are always seeking a getaway from their oh-so-stressful lives of luxury and profit. Where better to escape than the scenic wilds of a Canadian cabin house by the lagoon? Now the only thing they need is a little bit of excitement . . .
PROFIT: Easy pickings, discreet location, naivety of the rich. RISK: Canadian Naval connections, the one in a bunch rich man with common sense.
Hidden Valley - Canada
- Another Possible Treasure hunt?: Upon finding this hidden valley, you seem to notice some ruins near the middle. What could possibly be there?
GAINS: Treasure, and artifacts you could sell for a high price. DANGERS: Booby-traps, spirits, and curses. (possibly we could put one of those legendary gem peices here?)
Aztec Ruins
- Word across the seas has reached us with news of an illicit group of buccaneers who’ve occupied some old Aztec Ruins to run a drug ring. Catch them, and you gain a good profit selling it back out. Get caught and you will end up dead - much like some of our informants.

Central America
The Salty Sea
- The Salty Sea - Rebuilding the Salty Sea: After being burnt down, one of the famous pubs asked around for help rebuilding.
GAINS: a pub that will offer you shelter in times of need, probally some decent pay, and the respect of the Tortuga peoples. DANGERS: you can steal from the building area, gaining supplies that might be used to repair your ship and possibly some beer. BUT you will have made yourself infamous at one of the only safeholds of Pirates.
Hidden Village
- A crew of Sky Pirates returned to Tortuga with tales of a village hidden out in the Central America area. When they first landed they were treated like Gods descended from the heavens and plied with riches. Then one of their men messed up and the whole crew had to make a run for it. Take your chances playing Gods and grab up piles of gold. Or end up as that one screw up. With your head on a pike.

South America
Peruvian Mountains
- Alpaca Herds: There are so many of these giant, furry animals that it's nearly ridiculous. Taking a few won't hurt anyone, right?
GAINS: Wool, meat, and pack animals. You can sell them too for a nice price. DANGERS: upset herdsmen will most likely try and chase you off, and the Alpacas might stampede, and spit at you. Or is that Llamas?
Isla de Susurros
- From Below On High
Even if the top of the island is covered in dangerous ruins, perhaps one can enter from the cave-passages below? It’s possible to fashion a make-shift ladder from the vines leashing the island to Earth. What’s the worst that could happen?
PROFIT: The unclaimed treasure, the prestige of conquering the “gods,” a possible base. RISK: The unknown dangers and traps that prevented anyone from returning before, the heights, the wild-life in the caves and jungles.

Australia
Great Barrier Reef
- The A.R.A Independencia - out on a mission for the Argentinian government has been reported as sunk just outside of the Great Barrier Reef, thanks to the efforts of no fewer than four high-class pirate crews. However, none of these crews managed to collect the rewards of downing the Colossus-class frigate as three ships sunk with her and the other barely made it to shore. One drunken crew member has been reported saying the captain of said Colossus-class apparently had a glowing green gem strapped to his hat. Any pirate willing to go diving after a potential map-piece are welcome to it. But beware - the Sea Fleet and the Sky Military have been out en force to try to get to the wreckage first.
Cathair na Féileacáin
- Party Clean-up: After that huge party, there has to be something left behind, right?
GAINS: possible left behind jewels/purses, the crystal diningware, and food to stock your kitchen with. DANGERS: Gained Infamy with the Navy (who will most likely be there as well) and if you get caught, well...

Floating Mangrove Island
- Abundance Adrift
The mangrove roots are extensive—who knows what has been caught up in its roots? One thing glows green. Now, if only there was a way to keep it stable . . .
PROFIT: Anything that can be untangled from the roots, something that glows green, a chance to restock on fresh fish and fruit. RISK: Unstable areas, sharks, sinking, rumors of naval forces nearby . . .

The Skies
Castle in the Sky... island
- This island was once a part of the Transylvanian countryside. Then it vanished, leaving a gaping crater behind it. Since then, it’s slowly traveled it’s way across the Middle East and the Indian ocean to it’s current resting place to the north of Australia. All pirates that have gone to seek it’s treasures have never returned. So the rewards are unknown and the chances of survival are slim. Only the most daring pirates would go after this juicy prize.
