Marin has long, wavy/curly orange hair that goes down to her waist level. Her eyes are light azure blue as her complexion is light. Those clips are actually fake Marsh Marigolds with pearls on the ends as the flower wristbands are real flowers threaded together. She is small, flat chested (no curves, I really), and short.

Personality: Marin is a sweet, endearing girl who has a heart to help others. Despite the cruelty and coldness of the pirate world, she is still eager to shed some 'light' and pierce through the darkness that bounds in people's hearts. With much said, she is very naive, polite, and selfless when she wishes so. Smiling is a natural habit of hers, and so she is very cheerful, optimistic, and a tad ditzy. Upon greeting she would usually stammer if she does not recognize a person, if not, she would burst into a million of suave smiles and giggles. Always opting to help with open arms, she wishes to make friends with as many people as she can so she does not appear 'invisible'. Because of her small stature, she usually goes around completely unnoticed. Nevertheless, her maturity is at level, it's just her mannerism fits her age...
Contradicting her appearance and usual demeanor, she has a knack for getting money. Of course, Marin would only do so if she desperately needs it. When she finds a goal she wants to strive for, her ambition is unwavering, making her quite stubborn. Those moments are rare because she is really too much of a pushover.
History: Born in a ship, Marin has been exposed to the sea-salt of the air since her birth. She loves to be in the ocean - especially when it comes to swimming, fishing, and even something treacherous as shark-hunting and whaling. At a very young age, she was abandoned by her parents and was left alone to attend her own domestic activities at a farm. Marin was able to get over loneliness by tending her sheep, the animal that she dearly loves the most.
Being a clever girl at a young age, she was able to copy her mother and live for a few months on her own until being found by Alexsander (Norway). She grew attached to him and his mysterious ways and continued to live with him (or well, following really). Then she met Aksel through Alexsander and honestly fell for him completely. She admired him very much and began to follow the Dane instead. Honestly she does not mind when he forgets who she is and her name. Usually she calls Alexsander, Aksel, and the other 'Nordics' her 'brothers'. Marin would cook, clean, sew, and do everything in her power as a 'domestic' worker. Other than that, she is usually called the 'Siren of the Sea' because of her singing talent as well as the 'Mermaid' because she seems to like sticking herself underneath the water... even when it is unneccesary...
