City of the Dragon
Years ago, this enormous floating city filled the skies above the southernmost section of the Guangxi province. It was a central part of commerce in the air as a stopover for planes. But as the years went by, scientific measurement showed that the island was sinking - and not particularly slowly. Within a decade, workers were gathered to drag the massive island out closer to sea, so it wouldn’t crush the small villages below it.
They didn’t make it entirely to the sea - instead, the island lodged itself in place where at the bottom of a large water fall. The city flooded, as the waters couldn’t fall down beside it. It was evacuated for years as a wall was built between it and the rushing waters. Ironically, the small villages that they’d moved the city to keep from crushing had to be abandoned as the water fell back on them, turning the mostly arid landscape into a deep lake.
Now the city rests, shackled in place to keep it from leaning in the waterfalls basin. The city itself changed from an aerial port to a city of tourism after dealing with the damages of the flooding - the man made lake and beautiful sights attracting customers from around the world. Divided into sections, it strives to cater to the needs of every foreign culture, from Chinese itself, to American, to African and beyond. Each section is themed to bring tourists the comfort of home with an asian twist, from decor to food to activities.
Rock climbing has become quite a catch as well - people can not only scale what was once the waterfall, but the sides of the former floating city itself.

Floating City of the Wind
This city is one of the first floating islands ever populated. The island was shared at first by Portuguese and Irish settlers, and quickly became a popular stopover between the British Isles and the Iberian Peninsula. The city itself has boasted for years that it is completely without borders - anyone from any race is welcome there (as well as any other minority or majority).
While that is all well and good, the city is famous for something much more... seedy. The main island of this city is an entire world famous red light district. Over a mile long, it’s sold as ‘Whatever you’re looking for in a partner or a scenario, we can provide it’. While many countries and cultures look down on the city for using prostitution as it’s major resource, the attraction of world-famous beauties for a decent price - as well as guaranteed cleanliness as the men and women who work their trade are provided as much clean water as they wish as well as unlimited different forms of protection - the city is booming and thriving.
And as much as the city is run by that one district, there are five smaller islands attached to it to run the more mundane and political sides. One island is where the government resides. Another is filled with inn’s, hotels and motels. An entire island is a sprawling park for daylight entertainment. One is filled with restaurants from all over the world. And the last island is a landing pad for all the planes, flying ships and other forms of transportation.
