He stood back in the shadows, behind bloody drapery and statuettes of cards and Her Majesty. Lips twitching periodically between a smile and a frown, the Red King giggled behind his hands, which were clutched tightly in the red drapes and dripping blood down his knuckles and onto the floor. They were here - finally here and awake and he'd get his Queen back no matter if he had to kill them all again to do it.
Giving them a moment of confusion to themselves, he stared with unblinking eyes at what he'd caught. Not nearly all the traitorous bastards had returned - in fact there was merely seven who had returned. But that was enough. More than enough. He'd make sure that it was enough. "Welcome back, everyone~" he laughed as they panicked, taking a small revenge towards them by enjoying their fear.

Mei had gripped her brother's hand, rubbing his knuckles worriedly," I...I don't know Yong Soo...this place...its awful. Why do you think we ended up here? " She shuddered, inching closer to him, trying to avoid all the puddles on the floor, just noticing with horror and disgust that the bottom of her dress and her shoes and socks were well coated in it.
She startled, making a soft sound, wide eyed as she stared at the man that was drenched in blood. His words jarred with their surroundings, and she got back some of her usual composure. Chocolate eyes darkening with fury," Welcome back? What do you mean? I've never been here before in my life! I'd rather like to go home, you...this place..." Its a nightmare, she wanted to say, this was not the home of any rabbit, but some madman who surely belonged locked away.
A small part of her was trying to pointedly ignore the fact that she had to be just as mad, after all, since when did men resemble cats that floated and rabbits, and girls turn into mice?!

Something was wrong - more so than he had first thought... Nikolaas patted himself down to ensure he hadn't broken something. He felt like something had happened, but couldn't quite place what was odd. He froze Looking down he flexed his hands and arms
okay...he had two sets of arms That was beyond creepy. moving each he realized he had control over each of them individually - still creeped out, but at least that was rather neat.
So there was a girl the size of a mouse...and he swore he'd just seen a blonde guy go invisible...and there where not just one, but two men with rabbit ears. He frowned - this wasn't a bad trip - even bad trips made more sense than this.
The strange man made him jolt out of his musings about his strange and rather trippy experience. "Welcome? Fuck off ya creep" Nikolaas glared at the man standing in front of them all. "This is one fucked up dream...so why don't you just go die in a fire?"
((the image of NL with more than two arms amused me...))

Mathias's ears twitched, and he couldn't help but think to himself a bit dreamily that, wasn't that such an odd sensation...feeling one's ears twitch atop one's head.
However, his train of thought was quite rudely interrupted and his conscious awareness floated back to the forefront of his mind and what was going on around him. He noticed that a few of the people around him had turned their attentions elsewhere, and so he shifted and turned to see just what, or whom, they were addressing. He cradled the small mouse girl in one hand as he peered through the poorly lit room at the man who seemed to be coated in even more blood. Had he welcomed them? That was awfully nice...
His hazy mind drifted a moment longer before he hiccuped suddenly and his right foot began to tap against the floor, making a sick wet slapping sound every time it hit. The tapping increased slowly in tempo, speeding up until he was tapping with such vigor that his foot and pant leg were getting covered in a light up-splash of red liquid.
"Say," he said suddenly, feeling quite like his mind was going a hundred miles a minute and his mouth simply couldn't keep up. "I could really do with some tea. Tea, yes, tea sounds lovely."
He smiled a bit vapidly and turned to the man in the over-sized hat. "I rather like tea."

When he heard the voice and saw the insane eyes of the Red King, Ludwig began to feel panic. For whatever reason, this man made him feel absolutely nervous, downright fearful. The word trial was repeated over and over inside his head. He tried to hide his face with his hands, even though it was fruitless; the King already knew who he was. It was then did Ludwig notice he was wearing armor. The armor seemed to be of an ancient soldier type, but for whatever reason, there were...hearts all over it. Why hearts?
Because you are the Knave of Hearts, are you not?
No! This is just a bad dream! I'm not the Knave of anything!
The fear he felt only grew and grew, and Ludwig wanted to scream at the man that he was innocent, innocent, but he also had the instinct to not say a word. That damned queen...and her tarts!
Ludwig still had no idea who he was talking about.

Yong Soo clung to Mei-Mei through his sleeve, tugging her closer across the red-spattered floor and swallowing. His heart kept fluttering, eyes darting as he struggled to keep a grip on his sense of sane self being, but the grin on his face was slowly climbing back into mania.
He chuckled, tilting his hat askew, a certain airy lightness entering his voice. “I haven’t the slightest, da ze. Alice never answered the riddle.” The Korean pat her arm through his sleeve, trying to ignore the tremor in the motion, and the fact that he had no idea what he meant.
He blinked up at the arrival of the strange man, expressing his confusion in a soft hum. “Does he say “welcome back,” or “well come back,” I wonder?” he muttered, bobbing his hat and head. “One is a sentiment and the other a summons: both will need a different response, da ze.” He glanced at the quietly panicking German man, smiling as he explained, “I don’t feel very welcome or very back.”
Neither did the many-armed man, it appeared. Yong Soo quirked an eyebrow, less than impressed with the other’s poor manners. Really, he would never invite him for six o’ clock, if he kept a mouth like that. ‘He might not if Red Rex has anything to say about the matter,’[/b][/color] he thought in a brush, a voice quite different but becoming similar to his own, and his mouth quirked against his will.
His attention was caught by the energetically twitching man’s comment, his eyebrows rising with his grin and toes. “Tea originated in Korea!” He reached into his sleeve, pulling out a teapot, and jiggled it around his fingers as he looked at the mouse and hare, his sister and the king quite forgotten. “Shall we have a party, da ze? Provided the time does not die.” He glanced at the floating feline, and giggled. “Open invitation.”

Sitting in the rabbit-eared mans hands she peered around the room, her eyes landing on the man who was speaking, no, welcoming them. She blinked, once, twice, then thrice. Welcome back? But she had never been here before. She was fairly sure at least. Even though a part of her felt a very odd familiarity towards it. It was like she had been here before, like she-
Her ears perked up at the mention of tea. Balancing in the kind blond's hand she looked around curiously, before landing on the man in the over sized had and the only other girl present. Eyes landing on the teapot a happy feeling overwhelmed her, banishing any of her fears. A tiny yawn escaped her, and the urge to just climb into the pot and sleep. Oh that sounded like a wonderful idea.
"I do enjoy tea." She found herself speaking, voice sleepy as she yawned again. Sitting down in the hand and rubbing her eyes. "We can celebr-" Another yawn. "-ate our Unbirthday."
And like that, the little girl-mouse had dozed off.

Well, the appearance of the King was a little.... unexpected. For some reason, Francis was looking for a queen. Why? He hadn’t the slightest clue. As everyone reacted, Francis found himself thinking again. He was doing an awful amount of that these past few minutes. Some of the responses and words seemed strangely familiar. A lost girl, a ‘Mad’ Hatter, a rabbit who wanted tea? ‘Celebrate our un-birthday’? Anyone who had even heard of literature would see that a sort of “Alice in Wonderland” theme was going on here. And even if you didn’t read, there was always Disney’s rendition. And it seemed as if he was the Cheshire cat. Interesting.
He watched the Doormouse fall asleep in the March Hare’s hand and chuckled, wondering if the rest of them would catch on. Looking at the King, he offered a sort of mock bow. Vaguely, he wondered why it was the king and not the queen greeting them. Ah well, at least they wouldn’t lose their heads. “Thank you, my King, but I believe some explanation is needed?” He offered, rolling in the air so he was lying on his side, facing the king.
Upon looking down, he heard the Hatters offer to tea and smiled wide. “Tea sounds nice, but I do hope you have a spot of wine.” He purred slightly, wishing he had some now. But possibly, now was not the time to get tipsy.
